A crowd of over 150 professionals gathered Tuesday night at the offices of Information International Associates, Inc. (IIa) for an Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours event to celebrate IIa's recent office move.
Information International Associates, Inc. welcomed attendees to their new place of business on Union Valley Road in Oak Ridge, where they relocated in August 2010. Their move to the newly remodeled 14,000 ft2 facility marks the sixth time that IIa has outgrown its space in the past 22 years.
For this ribbon-cutting event, IIa President and CEO Bonnie C. Carroll welcomed Oak Ridge Mayor Tom Beehan, the President and CEO of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Parker Hardy, and the Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of East Tennessee, Luis Velazquez. Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce of Oak Ridge and Knoxville, the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC), the Energy Technology and Environment Business Association (ETEBA), Leadership Oak Ridge, and Young Professionals of Oak Ridge (YPOR) also joined the festivities.
IIa provided a wide variety of refreshments for their guests, and a disk jockey from Gary Loe Productions of Knoxville entertained the crowd. For the main attraction of the evening, attendees seized the opportunity to network with new and old associates.
Member companies of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce host Business after Hours events each month to give area professionals the opportunity to work together to seek out and create opportunities for community growth and development.
