Martha Wallus, Vice President for Human Resources and Administration
Martha Wallus has over 25 years in employee management and corporate administration experience. As Vice President for Administration for IIa, she supervises a variety of administrative functions, including facility management, lease improvements, and procurement of furnishings.As Vice President for Human Resources, she is responsible for managing personnel administration activities, including employee recruiting, hiring, training, personnel actions, benefits administration, health and welfare programs, compensation planning, and government compliance issues.
Ms. Wallus is nationally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and is a member of the local and national chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management. She is a professionally trained mediator and serves as an elected member of the City of Oak Ridge Personnel Advisory Board.
As a member of IIa's senior management team she is involved in the development of programmatic activities relating to administrative support services contracts for IIa. Ms. Wallus supporte the capture and management of IIa's Air Force contracts to provide education and training, military records, and personnel data system services at Eglin Air Force Base, FL; Edwards Air Force Base, CA; on Royal Air Force bases Mildenhall and Lakenheath, United Kingdom; and USAFE, Ramstein, Spangdahlem and Patch Barracks, Germany.
Ms. Wallus was Operations Manager for H&R Technical Associates, Inc., for over five years where she supervised the support functions of accounting, computing, and word processing, and served as HR manager. Prior to that position, she served as U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Lloyd's local administrative assistant until Ms. Lloyd's retirement.
In addition to her national certification, Ms. Wallus holds a B.S. degree in Biology and English from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
